Police have charged a truck driver after a pole fell off a vehicle and struck a car travelling behind it. (Photo courtesy of the OPP)A transport truck driver could be facing charges after a metal pole became dislodged from the back of a truck and totalled the front of a car.
Elgin OPP say it happened around 11am Monday on Highbury Ave. near Truman Line in Central Elgin. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and the truck driver could be charged with having an unsafe load.
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
