London police say two men are facing charges after an investigation into a rash of vehicle break-ins in the downtown core.

Police launched an investigation into the break-ins that happened between December 26, 2017 and January 24, 2018. Using information provided by the Crime Analysis Unit, officers with the Community Oriented Response Unit and Community Foot Patrol Unit worked on the case.

Officers identified two suspects and arrested them.

A 29-year-old London man faces several charges, including break and enter, eight counts of mischief under $5,000, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and fraud under $5,000.

Another 29-year-old man is charged with break, enter and theft, and possession of break-in instruments.

Both are to appear in court in February.
