London police say foul play is not suspected in the death of an inmate at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre on Boxing Day.
An autopsy was performed Wednesday on the body of a 29-year-old man who died at the jail on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the EMDC just after noon, after an inmate was found with no vital signs in his cell. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The London Police Service Major Crime Section and the coroner are investigating.
This marks the fifth death of an inmate at the EMDC in 2017
