After a few months on the run, a suspect in a late-summer shooting in London has been arrested.
Ayanle Aden of London was arrested in Victoria B.C. and is facing several charges in connection with the shooting on Wavell St. on Tuesday, August 29. Police were called around 6:15pm that night after reports of multiple gunshots. Initial reports said there was some sort of altercation that resulted in shots being fired. No injuries were reported, but at least two vehicles at the scene were hit by bullets.
Aden is being held by police in Victoria while arrangements are made to have him brought to London.

Discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life Careless use of a firearm Possession of a restricted firearm without a licence Possession of a prohibited device without a licence Possession of a loaded firearm Possession of a firearm that had been obtained by the commission of an offence Two counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited Three counts of failing to comply with a recognizance Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking.
