Police Bust Christmas Light Thieves

Two kids in St. Thomas will surely be on Santa's naughty list after police caught a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old stealing Christmas lights.

St. Thomas police were called to a medical building on West Ave. around 8:30pm Sunday by a concerned citizen who reported seeing someone trying to steal Christmas lights.

Officers arrested the two kids, who can't be named because of their age. They also seized a backpack full of projector lights, which were snatched from various south end homes.

The kids were released into their parents' custody but not before police drove around the city returning the stolen lights.
