Provincial Police in Perth County are investigating the sudden death of a child.
OPP Const. Laura Lee Brown says the incident occurred Sunday on Huron Rd in the Township of Perth South. Police were called to an address around 6:30am.
Not many details have been released but Brown says the child was under five years of age.
The Perth County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services have been called in to help.
The OPP stated Sunday evening that the office of the Chief Coroner is now involved with the investigation.
