Suspect Named In Fatal Hit And Run

A hit and run in east London that claimed the life of a London woman happened after the victim tried to get some stolen property back.

London police released the name of the victim and a suspect in the incident that happened at Dundas St. and Ashland Ave. just before 2pm Tuesday. Police say the victim, 64-year-old Deborah Titus of London, was trying to get her property back from a vehicle. The driver pulled away, hitting Titus, who later died of her injuries.

A bystander who had come to her aid was dragged a short distance by the vehicle, suffering minor injuries.

Police announced Wednesday that they had found the vehicle they believed to have been involved. On Thursday, they announced that a London woman has been charged.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Brittany Lynn Boyce, 29, on charges of manslaughter and assault with a weapon.
