Update: Environment Canada ended the snowsquall warning for London-Middlesex, Huron, and Perth counties at 11am on Friday.

Dust off the snow shovels, because the first significant snow squalls of the season are here.
Environment Canada has upgraded a snow squall watch to a warning for London-Middlesex, Sarnia-Lambton, as well as all of Perth and Huron counties. The weather agency says total snowfall amounts of 15 cm are likely in some locations.
Lake effect snow squalls will continue Friday morning and persist into the afternoon. The unseasonably cold winds will shift to a more northerly direction late Friday morning, shifting the snow squalls west of London.
Drivers are urged to use caution as travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Road closures are also possible.
