UPDATE: Police Locate Dangerous Dog

A dog that was described as "dangerous", has been caught after several incidents in St. Thomas.

Nitro, a 2-year-old male Alaskan Malamute/Husky style dog (similar to the one pictured above) killed a small dog and bit several people.

"An order to impound the dog for examination has been approved under the Dog Owners Liability Act," police said in a news release issued Thursday morning.

Police issued a tweet Thursday evening to say that the dog has since apprehended and is in the care of animal services. No further information has been released.
