Strathroy Man Faces Racing Charge

The need for speed has a Strathroy man in hot water.

Strathroy-Caradoc Police say that the 21-year-old man was clocked on Friday driving down Carroll St E at a whopping 132 km/hr. The speed limit in that area was just 50km/hr, meaning that the driver was 82km/hr over the speed limit.

The driver was pulled over and lost both his licence and his vehicle for seven days.

He is expected to appear in a London court , in October to answer to a charge of racing under the Highway Traffic Act.
