Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch for London-Middlesex.
The national weather agency reported Thursday morning that conditions were favourable for the development of thunderstorms in London-Middlesex, Elgin County, and Oxford County in the afternoon.
The watch was ended just before 7:30pm.
The wet weather is expected to continue Friday and Saturday with a 30% chance of showers both days. Sunshine returns on Sunday.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that people take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
