Jamaican Man Identified In Fatal Farm Accident

Police have released the identity of a 43-year-old Jamaican man who died in a farming accident near Teeterville in Norfolk County.

The OPP say the man was driving a tractor near a pond on Windham Rd. 5 around 9:20am Tuesday, when the machine slid down an embankment and rolled. The man was trapped by the wreckage.

An air ambulance was called, however 43-year-old Ernest Williamson of Jamaica was pronounced dead at the scene.

Victim Services of Haldimand-Norfolk was also notified and attended the scene.

The Ministry of Labour is continuing to investigate the incident.
