The province's police watchdog is investigating after the death of a man in Woodstock.
The Special Investigations Unit said on Wednesday, officers with the Ontario Provincial Police asked the Woodstock Police Service for help in locating a 45-year-old man.
A Woodstock officer was able to contact the man by phone, and on Friday around 7:30am, the man was found in a vehicle parked outside Woodstock General Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The SIU has not released the cause of the death, but an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday in London.
