Services Set for Woman Killed in Crash

Services have been arranged for a Mount Brydges woman killed in a crash Thursday.

Rachel Joris, 26, died when her vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer on Glendon Dr near Troops Rd.

An obituary provided by Denning Funeral Homes describes Joris as a mother-to-be who was engaged to be married. She is remembered as a "lively, beautiful, kind and passionate person" who had only in June become registered as a nurse, specializing in mental health.

In addition to her fiancé, Joris is survived by her parents, fiancé's parents, two sisters, a brother, and five nieces and nephews.

An informal visitation takes place Sunday at 2pm at Caradoc Sands Golf Club, leading up to a celebration of life at 4:30pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program are appreciated.
