Provincial police are investigating after a man was killed when he was hit by a VIA Rail train near St. Marys.
Emergency crews were called around 8:42pm Friday to the train tracks in the area of Perth Line 14 and Perth Rd. 125 in Perth South.
A man had been hit by a southbound VIA Rail train. While few other details have been released, Perth OPP say the death is not being treated as suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
OPP, VIA Rail police, and the office of the Chief Coroner are investigating.
