Crash Sends One To Hospital

One person was sent to hospital after a vehicle and transport truck collided in southwest London.

London police say the collision between a sedan and truck happened at Wonderland Rd. S and Hamlyn St., near Exeter Rd. around 7:30am Monday.

The car driver had to be cut from the wreckage and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain a small diesel fuel leak from the sedan. The Ministry of the Environment has been notified about the diesel leak.

The intersection was closed  in all directions for roughly five hours following the crash. It was reopened just before 1pm.

So far, no charges have been laid.
