Bluesfest Moving To Bigger Venue

To accommodate so many legendary blues and classic rock bands, the London Bluesfest is moving to a bigger venue.

Festival officials announced the headliners on Monday for the music event coming to Harris Park August 25, 26, and 27. The Wallflowers, Burton Cummings Band, Robert Cray Band, Blood Sweat and Tears, and the Rock Pack which features the lead singers of Toto, Foreigner, and Asia will perform throughout the three-day festival.

London's Bill Durst and Bobnoxious are also set to hit the stage, with more local acts to be announced in the coming weeks. Details of the 2017 “Eight Bar Blues” program, which will integrate the London Bluesfest at bars within the downtown core are also still to come.

This is the first year the Bluesfest will be held in Harris Park.

The music festival is in support of RockinWheel for Spinal Cord research.

“RockinWheel is very excited and honoured to be a part of this year's London Bluesfest. We are partnering with the Bluesfest family and are striving to make it an institution within the London music scene,” said Ken Allore, president of RockinWheel.

Tickets for London Bluesfest go on sale June 10 at 10am at Budweiser Gardens. One day general admission is set at $49 while a three-day general admission pass will cost $136.
