Knights Make Comeback To Down Rangers 5-4

The London Knights made a big third period comeback to score a 5-4 victory over the Kitchener Rangers on Friday.

The Rangers kicked off the game by taking a 2-0 lead in the first period, which they extended to 4-0 late in the second. Evan Bouchard scored in the final second of the frame to finally put London on the board.

Victor Mete started off the third period by scoring a goal for London just after four minutes into the frame.  JJ Piccinich and Sam Miletic followed up by scoring within six seconds of each other tie the game for London at 4-4.

Cliff Pu scored the game winner with 40 seconds left on the clock to complete the comeback for the Knights.

London also outshot Kitchener 34-26.

The Knights are in Windsor on Saturday to take on the Spitfires at 4pm.
