Londoners could be shoveling out from under 20 cm of snow by Thursday.
Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for London-Middlesex and parts of southwestern Ontario. The watch comes as the national weather agency forecasts snow squalls to develop Wednesday bringing 10 cm of snow during the day and another 10 cm overnight.
Visibility is expected to be significantly reduced during the squalls due to heavy snow combined with blowing snow. Roadways, sidewalks, and parking lots may also become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Motorists are advised to adjust their driving habits accordingly, and leave extra time to get to where they are going.
Snow squalls will diminish Thursday morning.
