Knights Shut Out Oshawa 4-0

Tyler Parsons stopped all 37 Oshawa shots in goal for the London Knights in their 4-0 win over the Generals Sunday night at the Tribune Communities Centre.

Mitchell Stephens also continued his scoring streak with two goals on the night, fresh off a hat trick and shootout winner Saturday at Owen Sound, stopping the Attack's 15-game winning streak.

The Knights move into a tie with the idle Erie Otters for the lead in the OHL Midwest Division with 71 points.

Janne Kuokkanen got the Knights' first goal of the game at 6:53 in the first period, his 19th goal of the season.  The score remained 1-0 London all the way into the third period, when Stephens got his first goal of the game at 3:48.  Evan Bouchard made the game 3-0 Knights at 9:11 with a score and Stephens drove in the final nail at 12:30 with his second goal of the night.

J.J. Piccinich had two assists for the Knights.  Kyle Keyser turned away 26 of London's 30 shots in goal for the Generals and took the loss.

The Knights will next host the Kitchener Rangers Wednesday night at Budweiser Gardens.
