The common-law wife of a man shot and killed by police in London's Old South area just before Christmas is facing new charges.
Police say a search warrant at 56 Duchess Ave. allegedly turned up marijuana, some cannabis resin, some magic mushrooms, and some LSD tablets. The total value of the drugs that were seized is just under $8,000.
Police also seized a knife from the scene.
Melissa Facciolo, 35, faces weapons-related offences, four drug-related offences, and one count of obstructing a peace officer.
On December 23, 2016, 35-year-old Samuel Maloney was killed by police during an early morning raid at the home.
The SIU is still investigating.
