Police Continue Search For Shelley Desrochers

One year later, London Police Services are still searching for Shelley Joy Desrochers.

The 42-year-old woman was last seen in London on January 2, 2016.

With this marking the one year anniversary of Desrochers' disappearance, police are asking for the public's help in finding her.

Constable Chris Loizides says they're not releasing any new information regarding the speculations surrounding her disappearance.

During their investigation last year, police had received several tips ranging from people saying Desrochers was avoiding police to suspected foul play.

Sightings of Desrochers had also been reported. It's believed she was in the area of Hamilton Rd. and Rectory St. on January 5, 2016.

Police became more concerned on January 29, 2016, when Desrochers failed to access money from a bank account that she was expected to.

Desrochers is described as 5’2”, approximately 130lbs, with long brown hair, and hazel eyes. She is described to walk in a certain style associated with being “pigeon-toed”.

Police say she has several tattoos, one of a bluebird and heart located on her right upper arm, and also a rose located on her left upper arm.

The London police have set up a  telephone tip line to help in their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the tip line at (519)660-5842 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
