A 24-year-old man is in police custody after a string of west London robberies in under two hours.
London police say a man walked into the pharmacy at 3090 Colonel Talbot Rd. just before 8:30am on Thursday, and demanded medication. He took off with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.
A little more than an hour later, a man demanded medication from the pharmacy at 1224 Commissioners Rd. W in Byron, but left empty handed. A few minutes after that, a gas station down the street from the pharmacy was robbed. A man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in that incident, according to police.
No one was injured and no weapon was seen during any of the three robberies.
A 24-year-old man was arrested near the gas station shortly after the robbery.
Police say charges are pending.
