London police are looking for suspects after a man was swarmed, assaulted, and robbed by five teenagers in the northwest-end.
The adult man was walking in the area of Aldersbrook Rd. and Ardsley Rd. when he was approached by five young men around 8pm on Monday. Police say the man was assaulted before his cell phone was stolen. He suffered minor injuries in the attack.
The five suspects are believed to be between the ages of 15-17. One is described as black, 6'1'', with a slim build. He was wearing a toque and dark clothes. The other four are only described as being shorter than the fifth suspect.
Police say no weapons were seen or used during the mugging. They are reminding the public to be aware of their surroundings, stay in well-lit open areas when travelling alone, and to report any suspicious activity or people.
