Police Searching For Downtown Robbery Suspect

Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery at a downtown London business.

The London Police Service says on Saturday around 2:10pm, a man entered Shoenet London Ltd., a retail business at 223 Dundas St., and repeatedly assaulted the store clerk with a weapon. The man was able to make off with an unknown amount of Canadian cash.

The clerk suffered minor injuries during the robbery.

The suspect is described as white male, around 20-35 years old, 5'7" tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair that was longer on the top and shaved at the sides. He was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans and blue running shoes. The man was seen carrying a yellow shopping bag at the time of the robbery, which can been seen in the image above.

Anyone who sees this man should not approach him, but should immediately call 911.
