The jobless rate in the London-St. Thomas area fell in October.
But once again, it wasn't because more people were working. According to Statistics Canada, the unemployment rate last month was 6.7%, down from September's 7%.
The agency says the local labour force shrunk by 1,100 people, while the number of people working fell by 300.
Nationally, the jobless rate held steady at 7% as the economy gained 67,000 part time jobs. However, there was a loss of 23,000 full time jobs.
