Woodstock police are looking for suspects after a cat that was shot with a BB gun had to be euthanized.
The incident happened between Monday night and Tuesday morning in the area of Hillside Dr.
Police say the cat was put down because a pellet from the gun became lodged in the animal's lung.
This is the second cat to be shot in the region in the past two weeks.
A cat in London had to have its leg amputated after it was shot last week. Officials with the London Humane Society are still trying to determine whether the cat was shot with a pellet or a bullet.
In both cases, anyone with information is asked to come forward.
