Environment Canada has ended all severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for Sarnia-Lambton, St. Thomas-Elgin, London-Middlesex, as well as parts of Huron and Perth counties.
The weather agency says meteorologists had been tracking a thunderstorm that may have been capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
Residents are reminded to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce large hail, damaging winds or torrential rainfall.
