An early morning traffic stop in south London has led to charges against two men and the seizure of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine.
London police says around 1:45am Monday, an officer saw a vehicle being driven in a "suspicious manner" in the area of Wellington Rd. and Commissioners Rd. E. The officer stopped the vehicle and the occupants were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
A further search of the men and the vehicle turned up, according to police, 135.6g of cocaine. Police also seized $1,562 in Canadian cash and a dagger. Police estimate the value of the cocaine at $17,628.
The two men, both from London, are charged with possession of a schedule 1 subtance for the purpose of trafficking.
