The London Lightning are now down 2-1 in the NBLC Finals against the Halifax Hurricanes after losing Game 3 Monday night in London.
Even with the 101-96 loss Akeem Scott managed a triple-double with 25 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. It’s the first triple-double in franchise history.
Akeem Wright had 17 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double. Garrett Williamson contributed 15 points while Stephen Maxwell had 13.
Game 4 is at Budweiser Gardens Wednesday, June 8 and the final Lightning home game of the season, Game 5 will be played Friday, June 10. Tickets are available online or through the Budweiser Gardens box office. If needed, Games 6 and 7 will be in Halifax.
