The National Basketball League of Canada final series is now tied at one game apiece.
The London Lightning fell 133-119 to the Halifax Hurricanes in game two of the series on Friday night. Garrett Williamson led the Lightning with 23 points, while Akeem Scott had 2o. Stephen Maxwell added 15 points and seven rebounds.
It was a close game in the first half as the teams headed to their dressing rooms with the Hurricanes leading 66-63. Halifax led 99-93 at the end of the third quarter, before pulling away in the fourth.
Joel Friesen led all scorers with 28 points.
The series now shifts to London for games three, four, and five. Game three is Monday night at Budweiser Gardens.
