Photo by Terry Wilson / CHL Images.Just a day after winning the Memorial Cup in Red Deer, Alberta the London Knights are coming home and bringing the championship trophy to Victoria Park.
The Knights' plane is expected to land at London International Airport between 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm. They will then be escorted from the airport down Oxford to Richmond to Angel to Victoria Park where the team will have a short ceremony before heading home.
There will be team speeches and the event will take place rain or shine.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
