London police have taken a handgun and more than $400,000 worth of drugs off the streets. Police raided a home on Proudfoot Lane on Thursday and seized a gun, ammunition, and drugs.
In all, police say they found:
- a loaded .40 caliber handgun
- 200 rounds of ammunition
- a loaded .40 calibre magazine
- 4.016 kg of cocaine
- 1.49 kg of marijuana
- 126 g of MDMA
- 15 vials of "shatter oil"
- 1 cocaine press
- $2,625 in cash
Abdul Shahin of London faces several charges, including multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a restricted weapon. Police say their investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to call London police or Crime Stoppers.
