Police Seize Guns, Drugs In Proudfoot Lane Bust

London police have taken a handgun and more than $400,000 worth of drugs off the streets. Police raided a home on Proudfoot Lane on Thursday and seized a gun, ammunition, and drugs.

In all, police say they found:

  • a loaded .40 caliber handgun
  • 200 rounds of ammunition
  • a loaded .40 calibre magazine
  • 4.016 kg of cocaine
  • 1.49 kg of marijuana
  • 126 g of MDMA
  • 15 vials of "shatter oil"
  • 1 cocaine press
  • $2,625 in cash
Police put the value of the drugs at $429,100.

Abdul Shahin of London faces several charges, including multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a restricted weapon. Police say their investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to call London police or Crime Stoppers.
