A London man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover west of the city.
Middlesex OPP say a vehicle was heading southwest on Vanneck Rd. near Thody Ln. just before 6:30am Thursday when it veered off the road. The vehicle then rolled coming to rest in a field.
Police say the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, 25-year-old Braden Smithson of London, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not been determined. Police say the crash remains under investigation.
Vanneck Rd. between Gainsborough Rd./Nairn Rd. and Coldstream Rd. was closed for several hours. It was reopened around 1pm.
