The London Lightning fell short of the Moncton Miracles in a 114-98 loss on Sunday.
Moncton took a six point lead at the end of the first quarter, and held on to a 55-51 advantage going into halftime. London remained close behind the Miracles with a score of 79-71 at the end of the third quarter, but fell further behind to lose in the final frame.
Stephen Maxwell put up 22 points and had 11 rebounds, while Akeem Scott finished the game with 17 points and eight assists.
The Lightning head to Halifax on Thursday to take on the Hurricanes at 7pm.
