The London Knights edged the Guelph Storm 5-4 in overtime on Friday.
The Knights were the first on the board with a 2-0 lead in the first period and then continued to lead 4-2 going into the third. However, the Storm made a comeback and was able to tie things up at four goals each in the third to force overtime.
Right winger Aaron Berisha scored the game winning goal 3:44 into OT to win it for the Knights.
Berisha also scored a goal during regular play, along with Kole Sherwood, Chandler Yakimowicz and Max Jones who each scored one.
The Knights return to the ice on Saturday to take on the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30pm.
