London police say officers were called to to the scene on Friday just after 6pm Friday.
Middlesex-London EMS rushed the woman to hospital, where she later died.
Wellington Rd. at Chester St. was closed until around 11:30pm while officers conducted an investigation.
The woman's name has not yet been released.
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
