London police have laid charges in connection to an armed robbery spree in the city.
The first incident happened on September 18, when four men armed with guns entered the Scotia Bank on Hamilton Rd. and demanded cash. A fifth suspect drove a stolen getaway vehicle.
Michael Doxtator, 37, Charles Grebenchen, 25, Erika Pation, 25, and Travis O'Leary, 39, all face charges in connection to this incident. Police have issued a warrant for Johnny Grebenchen and one suspect is still unidentified.
Then, just over a week later, two men, one armed with a gun, held up the Petro Canada on Wonderland Rd. N. The suspect took cigarettes then fled the scene. Michael Doxtator, Charles Grenbenchen and Travis O'Leary all face charges in connection to the gas station robbery.
Around 10:15am on October 7, police tried to stop an SUV being driven dangerously in the area of Hamilton Rd. and Highbury Ave. The chase was called off, and shortly later the suspect vehicle hit another car and failed to stop. Police say the GMC Envoy had been stolen earlier that day. Michael Doxtator now faces multiple charges in connection to this incident.
Finally, on October 8 around 9pm police tried to stop a pickup truck with stolen licence plates in a parking lot on Trafalger St. A spike belt was used and the driver, later identified as Michael Doxtator, fled on foot. His passenger, Leigha Ainscow, was arrested and charged at the scene.
