A Malahide Township man is facing charges in connection to a car crash that killed a four-month-old baby boy and his father.
The OPP says John Tremblett, 33, from London has died in hospital due to injuries he suffered in the October 7 crash.
Investigators were called to Yarmouth Centre Rd. and Ron McNeil Line around 7pm on October 7.
Officers say a man driving a pick-up truck was headed south on Yarmouth Centre Rd. when it ploughed into the side of an SUV crossing the intersection. Both vehicles ended up in a nearby ditch.
Police say Tremblett was a passenger in the back of the SUV, as was his four-month-old son Carstyn Tremblett. The baby died the day of the crash.
The driver of the SUV remains in serious condition at a local hospital.
Robert Duncan, 68, of Malahide Township faces two counts of dangerous driving causing death, two counts of criminal negligence causing death, one charges of dangerous driving causing bodily harm and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
He will appear in a St. Thomas court today to answer to the charges.
