© CanStock Photo ImagesMiddlesex-London EMS confirm a man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after reportedly being hit by a bus in downtown London just before midnight Thursday.
Emergency crews arrived on scene at Richmond St. and Dufferin Ave. after a report came in of a pedestrian struck by a bus.
The man was taken to Victoria Hospital and police are investigating the incident.
Reports suggest the man was in his early 30's. His name is not being released.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
