The London couple accused of locking their nephew in a filthy bedroom for nearly two years is scheduled to appear before a judge this morning. The pair cannot be named due to a publication ban. The 10-year-old boy was rescued from their Asima Dr. home last May. Police say the boy had been locked in a bedroom for up to two years and was fed fast food twice a day. He was discovered when a neighbour spotted a curtain moving inside the home and called the Childrens' Aid Society. When police entered the house they found the boy living in squalid conditions. He was wearing urine soaked pajamas and had shoulder-length hair. The boy was treated for malnourishment and placed in foster care. The couple's biological daughter was also taken into custody. Investigators say the boy's father was living overseas at the time.
