It took 13 innings and almost four and a half hours, but the London Majors came away with a 4-2 win in the first game in their semifinal series against the Kitchener Panthers.
Majors right-fielder Argenis Vargas hit a two-run home run in the top of the 13th to break the tie.
Starter Oscar Perez pitched eight innings, allowing two runs on eight hits, striking out seven and walking three.
The second game in the best of seven series is tonight in London at 7:35pm.
