Man Dead After Fight

A 32-year-old man is dead and police are looking for answers following a fight in the Westmount area.

Police were called to a home at 189 Commissioners Rd. W around 11:45pm last night. When officers arrived they found two injured men outside the home.

Both were taken to hospital where a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead.

A 30-year-old man was arrested early in the investigation but has since been released.

Investigators say the two men taken to hospital and the caller who dialed 911 were "associated to the address."

Charges have yet to be laid and the investigation is on-going.

The forensic identification unit and major crimes section is on scene taking evidence from the home and speaking to witnesses.

Residents of a nearby apartment building tell BlackburnNews.com they believe the man died of stab wounds.

An autopsy will be done tomorrow at the London Health Sciences Centre to determine exactly how the man died.

This is the third death to be investigated by police in London in four days.

In the early morning hours of June 14, Jeremy Cook, 18, was gunned down in east London while trying to track his lost cellphone. Police are still searching for three men in connection to the murder.

On June 16, a 49-year-old man was found in medical distress outside an east London apartment. He was pronounced dead in hospital. His 29-year-old partner faces a minor charge in connection with the incident. That investigation is still on-going.

Anyone with information in regards to any of these incidents is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
