Heat Record Broken

The mini-heat wave in London has turned out to be record breaking.

Environment Canada recorded a temperature of 29.4C at 2pm on Friday. That broke the previous record high temperature for May 8, which was set in 1979.

The temperature climbed to 28.5C that day.

But the mid-summer like heat of the latter part of this week won't last. Forecasters say we'll return to more seasonal temperatures on Tuesday.
