Officials at the London International Airport say the site saw a record number of passengers in 2014.
A total of 476,617 people used the airport last year, the most in its 75-year history.
This is a 6% increase of 2013's numbers.
"We're progressing on the right path," says President and CEO of the London International Airport Michael Seabrook. "We know that passengers like the convenience of not driving to Toronto or Detroit, and the ease of being home just minutes after landing.”
Airport revenue increased by 6% totaling $10.6-million with a surplus of $674,643.
Seabrook says the growth is entirely from new business and they continue to focus on adding more flights.
A 2014 study showed that 96% of respondents would use the airport more if additional flights were available.
As of right now, you can fly directly to Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Chicago an Ottawa. Sun Charter destinations are Orlando, Miami, Cuba, Cancun and the Dominican Republic.
There are also air cargo flights leaving the airport. This year, six flights took 1,000 Heifer cattle to Kazakhstan.
