Court Appearance For Jeffrey Day

A man accused of driving impaired when he got into a single-vehicle crash that killed his sister is due in a London court today.

Jeffrey Day, 29, of Strathroy-Caradoc, faces four charges including criminal negligence causing death, in the June 2014 rollover that took the life of his 27-year-old sister Michelle.

Day was left paralyzed from the waist down after the 2000 Lincoln he was driving left Napperton Dr. in Adelaide-Metcalfe, rolle and hit a hydro pole. He was charged ten months after the fact. Police allege Day had marijuana on him at the time of the crash and also charged him with impaired operation of a vehicle causing death.

Day is expected to answer to the charges on Friday morning.
