UPDATE: Police Seek Dog Owner After Bite Incident

London police have released more information in the case of a concerned citizen who was bitten by a dog.

Police say on Saturday around 3:45pm, a golden retriever with a metal chain collar was seen running loose within the intersection of Oxford St. W at Sanatorium Rd.  The concerned citizen attempted to get the dog off the road and was bitten on his hand.

Police say the injury from the bite was minor.

The full-grown dog, who goes by the name "Bandit" was last seen in Normandy Gardens. Police say he had an injured tail and very worn pads on its feet.

London police would like to speak with the owner to determine if the dog's vaccinations are up to date.
