The jobless rate in London-St.Thomas fell 1/10 of a basis point to almost match the national rate.

Canada's jobless rate stayed steady at 6.8%. Statistics Canada reports that more people found part-time work in March. Nearly 29,000 jobs were added.
It says more people found jobs in retail and wholesale trade, transportation and warehousing, educational services and natural resources. Job losses were in the construction, public administration and agriculture sectors.
