Oxford OPP says a man is charged after an alleged drunk driver ran into the back of a school bus.
It happened Tuesday around 4pm. Police say the school bus was stopped on Pressey Line near Culloden Rd. in southwest Oxford Township. It had its lights flashing when it was struck from behind by a van.
There were two people, the driver and a student, on the bus at the time of the crash. Neither suffered any injuries.
The driver of the van was arrested at the scene.
Michael Palen, 58, of Norwich Township is charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.
He will appear in court at a later date.
