Frederick Oag, 38, was arrested after two men were stabbed at 150 Adelaide St. N on November 9. One of those men, 45-year-old Shane Sturgess, died in hospital on November 19.
Oag was initially charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He now faces a charge of second degree murder.
He is still incustody and has a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday, November 26.
